"Books for Black children are hard to find" is a common statement in our society.  Black children need to see faces that look like theirs and stories about people that look like them written by people that look like them. The Black Child Book Fair Tour will provide positive and quality literature for our children.

Fall tour 2021

*ATLANTA – Sept. 18th

On the first stop of our fall tour, we’re collaborating with Callahan Elementary School to bring the Black Child book Fair to Atlanta! Join us on September 18th as we bring dozens of Black authors to the population of over 800 to Callahan Elementary 120 Oriole Dr. 10am – 3pm. 

*NASHVILLE – Oct. 2nd

On the second stop of the fall tour, the Black Child Book Fair is collaborating with the schools in the Nashville neighborhood of Whites Creek for a giant Black literacy celebration! Join us on October 2nd at Creswell Middle School 3500 John Mallette Dr. 10am – 3pm.

*MEMPHIS – Nov. 6th

In partnership with "National Coilition of 100 Black Women Inc" Memphis Chapter. The third stop of the tour goes to the main lobby of the Benjamin Hooks Regional Library November 6th in Memphis, TN 3030 Poplar Ave 10am – 3pm.

*DALLAS – Dec. 4th

We collaborate with the Delta Sigma Theta alumni chapter in Dallas for a Christmas book fair! Join us at the DST Arts and Letters House 650 S. Griffin St., December 4th 10am – 3pm.
